Words cannot describe how much I adore this track.
I spend my life writing down lyrics that move me, trying to share that connection with others …
If only I could even begin to capture in words the sound of this track and the feeling I get during the guitar solo at about 3:35 (ish) …
It is liquid soul … beauty made sound … Heartbreakingly lovely …
This is the best moment of the week! I love Rush so much, ever since I was a child I used to blast music to 2112! It used to be so dorky for people to like this band, within the last few years they are on every movie, tv show etc.
I loved them for their creativity, their voice, and diversity before the rest of the World decided it was finally “acceptable”.
I remember kids listening to Nirvana saying Geddy Lee’s voice made them want to throw up because they sounded like a girl! I could never listen to Nirvana again!
So good to see your post! Thank you for this! 🙂

I was given a compilation tape in 1979. I was 12. Individualism, responsibility, freewill, suburban discomfort. The sound track of my life.
It took the world some time to catch up, but at last it does not feel quite so lonely out here in the Rush universe. Then again, it never did, not as long as we had the music, right?
Thanks for the comment, brother, it’s good to share this stuff with like minded folk.

Hello,
Would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most
blogs and I’m looking for something completely
unique.
P.S. Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
No worries, far as I know it’s an off the shelf theme called twenty ten. Word press. Elegant and simple like me. Well half true at least.
